NEW PUPPY!!!!!!!!!

He has no name yet. I think my mother wants to call him "Sugar" until she can decide on a name. He is so incredibly calm and sweet. The woman my mother bought him from said he was the runt and came from a litter of 5, I think. Niko was very excited, as you can see, and was extra interested in the puppies private parts. Niko has issues that need to be FIXED. Poor sweet Niko. OH the puppy is a Shitzu, Poodle mix. He's heavenly.

Not great pics. This is us taking Niko to his first vet visit....ever. We were too disturbed and worried about his wellbeing during the visit to take pictures.
The poor thing had 6 shots and we were told he was most likely "a little abused". It also turns out he is not 18 months, but fully grown and 2 or 3 years old. I am glad I didn't meet his previous owner. I understand, truly I do, how hard life is and if you can't care for a pet.....you shouldn't have one. She did the right thing in finding a new home for him. We love him and I wish he could live with me rather than my parents. I am so glad we have him. My parents tried to keep him in the kitchen at night, but he whines and cries until he is allowed in my mother's room. He sleeps in my mother's room now.

Hore-Belisha has to be the BEST FREAKING NAME EVER. Thank you Mollie Panter-Downes for living in an age when you could possibly hear of a name such as Hore-Belisha. That is such a pure bred animal name or a really pretentious stuffed animal name. I have blue stuffed bear that I named "Beary" uh-hem that would so have been named Mr. Hore-Belisha if I had been so enlightened about 3 or4 years ago. Ladies and Gentlemen, Hore-Belisha.
